Fimo Ceramic Canes for Professional Nail TechniciansIf you're trying to find a way to bring your nail business up to the next level without breaking the bank or learning a complex new technique, investing in a few ceramic nail art canes could be just the right move! These brightly coloured handmade canes are also frequently referred to as "Fimo canes" and are a great favourite among clients. Usually, these handmade ceramic canes have been put through a careful quality control process. Simply put, we won't let one of these canes get on its way out of our storage warehouse without first making utterly sure that it is of only the highest quality. Sure, you can find cheap canes floating around the internet, but if you've bought these in the past, you know why they don't do as well as the original. What makes "Viva La Nails" unique is that we only sell genuine hand crafted ceramic canes. We are so serious about this claim that if you have any complaints about this product within the first 4 weeks, we will take it back for a full refund or store credit. You won't find that kind of guarantee with cheap generic nail art canes. Why Ceramic Nail Art Canes? You can also buy canes that are already sliced, but there is a reason why majority of nail art technicians work with whole nail art canes. I know from personal experience that pre-cut pieces will only work on some clients as slices are too thick for most occasions. If you want to get highest quality designs always, buying whole canes is the way to go. With a whole cane, you can cut slices as thin as you like, making them perfect for application even on natural nails. The most common way to use nail art canes is to cut them in 0.1 mm - 0.2 mm thin pieces and place them between 2 layers of clear gel. The start of this technique can be found few years ago when first ceramic nail art canes, in a form of fruits (raspberries, oranges, kiwi etc.) become available to professional technicians. These days, there are hundreds of patterns available so you really don't have to stick with that fruit pie look anymore! The only problem is that you will need a special nail art cutting blade. However, this tool is reasonably priced and well worth the investment. Just make sure to watch out! The blade is super sharp. This makes it perfect for cutting razor thin pieces from your nail art canes. You can buy both individual nail art canes as well as cane sets which offer great value and selection of canes! So, whether you need an entire collection of ceramic nail canes or just need to stock up on one particular style, we've got what you need. Most popular categories are: Butterflies, Smiles, Sweets, Fruits, Flowers and Vegetables. This should be more than enough to keep your clients happy for some time! Each cane is about 50 mm long with a diameter of 5mm. Depending on the thickness of your slices, you should be able to get around 100 pieces from each cane. Be sure to come back frequently because we receive new styles at our company all of the time. Offering a large variaty of nail art canes to your clients is the way to go! Gel Nails | Fimo Nail Art - A Popular Choice for Nail Decoration
A polymer clay brand, Fimo has emerged as one of the most popular nail decoration ideas among nail technicians and their clients. Millefiore clay canes made of Fimo and used on nails are known as fimo nail art. Fimo is known for its properties of firmness, strength and ability to retain shapes without distortion which is one of the reasons for its popularity among nail technicians. Clients love this nail art because it looks great on their nails, there are so many options to select from and it lasts really long on their nails.
Using Fimo nail art is a great way for nail techs to take their business forward. It saves them a lot of time in terms of crafting, designing and painting nails manually. The nail expert is therefore not required to have the skills to paint and sculpt acrylic as Fimo comes in canes of hundreds of designs as well as pre sliced if the tech demands. The client just has to select the design or pattern they would like and paste them on the nails.
If you are a professional, Fimo canes are the best option for you, as they can easily be embedded on gel nails, nail polish and even acrylic nails. For application on nail polish you have to make sure that the cane is sliced paper thin, about 0.1mm to 0.2mm and applied carefully with a pinpoint tweezer. First apply the base coat and then place the Fimo slice with a drop of glue on the nails. You can then complete the nails with the application of the top coat.
For embedding Fimo slices on gel nails, first sculpt the nail with the gel and then apply the slice pressing down with a plastic wrap. Cure the gel nail under the UV lamp and complete the rest of the gel nail procedures. For acrylic nails, apply the colored acrylic on the nails, then the clear acrylic. Place the Fimo slices on the uncured surface and cap it with the last coat. Shape nails to the desired level to get the best results. If you think the Fimo slice is too thick, you can let it dry and file away the excess and then top it up with the last coat.
It is best to invest in whole Fimo canes as you can always slice it to the desired thinness yourself without any wastage and also use them on natural nails. However, it is important that you slice the canes with a very sharp blade to avoid smearing the pattern and distorting its shape. Canes should be ideally warmed before use so that you can cut them with ease. Warming can be done either by rubbing the cane between your palms or by holding it under light for a while. Some Fimo sticks today do not even have to be warmed before slicing.
Fimo canes and slices are available in a wide range. The patterns vary from fruits, flowers, smileys, insects, birds, figures, candy canes, stars to name a few. You can either select a single pattern or can even opt to create a colorful collage for your clients’ nails using varied Fimo slices. The possibilities with Fimo are endless. You can create a new look each time and have a wow from your clients.
