Is Fimo (polymer clay) waterproof?

Dose polymer clay (fimo) contaminate/react with water if contact is made?
(polymer clay = fimo, du-kit)
Will it react with drinking alcahol?

It will hold water just fine, but it's not safe for use with alcohol.
